It keeps saying update package is not available when I try to update from the plugin updates page.

I’m sure Themeco will also reply, but that’s usually because Themeco hasn’t updated the bundled version yet. You’ll need to wait until the sync the bundled version with the latest version.

Thanks for writing in! The latest supported and stable version of MEC plugin that we have in the Themeco plugin repository is 7.18.0 version. You can check it here:

Once we are done with testing for conflict and incompatibility, the latest version will be available in the Themeco plugin repository.

I’m stuck on version 6.6.12 and can’t even update from that

Hello Megan,

Temporarily deactivate the MEC plugin. Once deactivated, you should be able to update it. If this is not helping, please provide us with your WP details so we can investigate the issue. You can create a secure note in your next reply with the following info:
– Link to your site
– WP login URL
– WP username
– WP password
– WP Administrator Role
– Confirmation that we can access and make changes to your site
