Can't edit any pages in PRO anymore

Hi,

I don’t know what happened but I can’t edit any page in PRO anymore?
What can I do to get it back?

Thanks for writing to us.

It seems that there is an issue of plugin conflict, I went ahead and disabled all the plugins after that I check the page, the page builder works fine after disabling all the plugins. I would recommend you must troubleshoot with a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings.

There are no new plugins installed and before it always worked.

Only run my uodates like I always do once in a while.

This should not break PRO.

Please check again what’s wrong with your Version that’s causing this issue. Thank you.

What did you do to my Plugins?!
The section looks totaly different now, there are Plugins in my list that haven’t been there before.
Some Plugins are activated or deactivated not as it was before.

Come on…

Just restored a backup to get alle my original settings back. Please don’t do it this way next time…thank you.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience, I moved the screenshots in the secure note as per request. On the other hand, you revert to an old backup of your website which contains the old Pro version and If you want us to check your website without breaking any functionality in your live website, I suggest that you create a staging area where we can test what’s going on.

If you don’t want to create a staging area ( sometimes some servers don’t allow staging area ) please clear all your caching plugins and server-side or CDN caching features. Make sure to clear it and not just deactivate it.

And, Test for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third-party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

Thank you for following up.

Cornerstone plugin is not active and wants to update. Should I update the Cornerstone update…I did the update before I reverted back to an old backup.

Besides that PRO is asking for a theme update. Which I also I did before I reverted back to an old backup.

After that the option “Edit With Pro” was gone and replaced with “Edit With Cornerstone”.

Please advice

Hey @smart_x,

When I logged in to your site, I did not deactivate or install any plugin. I simply tried editing the pages to replicate the issues and look for any possible errors which may have caused your issue. That is why I was able to take a screenshot of your site and have no issues editing the page.

Meanwhile, if you are using the Pro theme, you can simply go to the Plugins section and you can totally delete the Cornerstone plugin. It is not needed when using the Pro theme because it is already integrated into the Pro theme.

The “Edit with Pro” was gone and has been replaced with “Edit with Cornerstone”. We are now using the Cornerstone name change as the general name for the theme’s group of builders. You can check out this documentation to know more about this changes:
