Can't edit any content since update

Hey there,

Happy 2021!

I updated to the latest version of Pro the other day (4.0.10), now when I go in to edit my content I can’t seem to see the actual content in the preview pane. I can edit it in the sidebar fine, but just can’t see the “live view” of my changes.

There appears to be a relevant warning in my developer tools:

Any ideas what might be going on here?

Thanks for reaching out.

There could be a plugin or custom code that affects the live preview.

I recommend the following troubleshooting procedures before we investigate the settings.

  1. TESTING FOR THEME RELATED ISSUE
  2. TESTING FOR PLUGIN CONFLICT
  3. THEME UPDATE
  4. CHILD THEME
  5. CSS/JS CUSTOMIZATION
  6. VERSION COMPATIBILITY

Only if none of that helps, please give us the following information in a Secure Note.

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password

Wow, that’s weird it was a plugin called “WP External Links” which I’m fairly sure we’re no longer using.
