I just updated xpro theme, and now depreciated items are not allowing me access. I checked and they are enabled in setting so I don’t know why it’s not working. Please help
Hello @LaconicSolutions,
Thanks for writing to us.
It appears that you are trying to edit a deprecated (classic) element, which is why you’re seeing the permission message. Please follow the steps below to resolve this:
-
Go to your WordPress Dashboard.
-
Navigate to Cornerstone → Settings.
-
Open the Permissions tab.
-
Go to Elements.
-
Enable All Classic Elements.
-
Toggle All Permissions to ensure access is granted.
-
Save the settings and reload the page in the Cornerstone builder.
Hope it helps
Thanks
I have done that and they are enabled but it’s still giving me the same message
Hello @LaconicSolutions,
To help you with your concerns, we need to check your settings. I would request please share the admin login details meanwhile I would suggest you troubleshoot a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings. Please share your details in a secure note. Please provide the following details
- WordPress Login URL
- Admin-level username and password
- Exact page URL
You can find the Secure Note button at the bottom of your posts
Thanks
Hey @LaconicSolutions,
I have checked your account and you seem to have several site URLs. We could not figure out which site you are having the issue with. Please send us the WP Admin URL of the current site URL that we will be troubleshooting.
Cheers.
Here is one of them its the modal that is giving me issues.
Hey There,
You seem to forgot to paste the site URL.
Thanks.
Hey @LaconicSolutions,
I believe that there is an issue with the deprecated elements with the latest version. Be reminded that there is a reason why these elements are deprecated. They are meant to be replaced with the new elements as support for these legacy elements will be dropped sooner or later.
I would recommend that you use the Modal element from now on. If you are looking of getting the contents of the deprecated Content Modal element, you can enable the Debug Toolkit and use that feature to get the properties and contents of the deprecated element.
For more details on how to use the Debug Toolkit, check this documentation:
Best Regards.
