Would you be kind enough to have a look at upriseri.com and I’ll briefly describe the elements and wondering if Pro with the new loopers can replicate this dynamically generated layout out of the box?
Ignore the header, I know we can design that in Pro. Here are the rest of the elements going down the page:
- Large hero: Most recent story with tag “top”. One line excerpt below it.
- Next 4 most recent stories with tag “top”. Meta shown: Featured image, Category, Recency, Title
- Ad (Ignore, I know we can include this)
- Section title (post category)
- Each section follows essentially the same layout:
- First story uses featured img as the background, with category, recency, large title, and excerpt overlaid.
- Next two most recent stories from category. Uses smaller images with meta below.
- Ad space in top of 3rd column (if no ad, includes 2 addtl stories).
- Next 3 (or 5) most recent stories from category with small image on left, and meta on right.
The rest of the page is simply different sections (i.e. post categories).
Dying to migrate this over to Pro - if it can pull this off. I’m not asking you to do the work for me, but a) Can this be done w/o all manual code customization, b) Can you guide me on how to set up one of main sections (eg. Civil Rights) to do this with the loopers? Thank you!
