Button built from scratch going full width

I seem to be having the same issue as discribed here

All my buttons are full width and I cant change it

The button width in cornerstone does not effect the button size. I can change it to 5 px, or 1000 px, it still is full width. Its always worked fine, but some plugin or site update seemed to of caused this to always stay at full width of the container https://forgelabs.com/fused-deposition-modeling-fdm/

I am trying to build a button from scratch with a background texture in it, but my div fills the full width of the containing container

i am following video 4 in MAX web design magic but my fresh install isnt behaving in the same way

i.e. i place a headline inside a DIV with the headline set to SPAN and the div set a but the div expands to fill either the full width of the page or the full width of the containing container. I have inspected the ccs but i can’t see why this is happening

Thanks for writing in! The DIV goes fullwidth when the Flexbox option in the container of these elements is disabled.

Once Flexbox is enabled, it will have a width of auto.

If this isn’t helping, kindly provide the URL of the page where we can find it so we can investigate.
