I have admittedly never done any unicode codes before so thanks for getting me to learn something new.
In the editor press “CTL+SHIFT+U”. You should get an underlined u. Type whatever the code is after this (the example is subscript 2). Then press enter, the screenshot is before I typed enter.
hi charlie,
it works normally for all elements.
Where it doesn’t work is when I add a textarea or a textfield in the component builder => edit parameters =>.
if i want to make a superscript two (with pressed alt gr + 2) in this field in the builder.
sorry if i don’t express myself correctly but english is not my mother tongue
best regards
harry
Hey Harry,
I’m able to use unicode in that area, but it sounds like you are doing this through another method I’ve never used.
When you say gr do you mean >
or G+R
?
Thanks Charlie
ah okay, i think in us there isn´t that key on the keyboard. i am from austria. we have an additional key called AltGr right rom the space key. (the german keyboard layout)
here a wiki entry:
with this key we can add special chars like: €²³{[]}\
so the function of this key is very important.
hope that helps?
Okay that helps a lot danke. I see what your saying now. Our keybindings for switching the tab are looking at both Alt keys so it is conflicting. I’ll get that fixed and not look at the AltGr key or get it working like the text editor.
