BuddyPress Friend Request

Hi team
I have recently developed a website for a Community based connection and
have used BuddyPress.
However, it appears that the “Request Friend” functionality is still an issue with Pro theme.
I have used the 4.3 version of Buddypress as reccomended.
I have viewed two previous links:

Can you advise if there is any “fix” available for this currently??
I have disabled plug ins and changed Theme as suggested. However, it works with the Wordpress default theme.

Hi Debbie,

This should be fixed now as confirmed by the developer and also check it myself. I installed budypress and when I visit another member user profile this Add Friend button is showing:

On Buddypress Settings > Components > Please make sure Friends Connections is active.

If the issue persists, please try testing for a plugin conflict. You can do this by deactivating all third party plugins, and seeing if the problem remains. If it’s fixed, you’ll know a plugin caused the problem, and you can narrow down which one by reactivating them one at a time.

If this is not cause of any plugin, please share site URL and credentials inside a secure note so we can check further. Thank you.

I have updated to version 5 of the BuddyPress and also to the lastest version of Pro … and now this friendship feature is available … I really appreciate your time in taking to test this feature yourself and provide the image above. Once again the support provided by Themeco is outstanding. Very grateful!!
