I know that this topic has come up several times already… From what I hear and read here and in the Facebook group, there seems to be agreement that an option should exist to switch the top/bottom positions of the tab bar and the breadcrumbs bar. Of course, people that are happy with the breadcrumbs at the bottom would be much less vocal about it than the unhappy ones. Still…
I hear your argument, @kory, that, at the current state, the height of the neighboring buttons in the inspector pane match the heights of the bars next to it. I fully understand that this is potentially the most esthetically pleasing solution. However, the first time you brought up that reason, my initial thought was that it would be great if they have different heights (when the positions are switched) because it would visually emphasize the boundary between the inspector pane (element-specific actions) and the bars (more global function).
Maybe this thread can be used to collect thoughts, feedback, and inputs on the bar locations.
