Bluehost changed servers cannot validate

hi I am getting this message: Your code is valid but looks like it has already been used on another site. You can revoke and re-assign within your Themeco account. Please advise what to do. Is this a Bluehost issue?

Hi @DancelandDJs,

Thank you for writing in, please navigate to your Licenses page, and make sure the Address/URL associated on your license is the correct one. If not, you can click the corresponding pencil icon to edit.

More details about product validation here.

If the issue persists, please provide us login credentials in a secure note so we can take a closer look.

Hope it helps,
Cheers!

Hi I sent a secure note - was it received? thanks

Hi @DancelandDJs,

Yes, I can see it. But is that your site URL below? I can’t access it, it redirects to a 404 Not Found page. Please check.

In the meantime, on the licenses page, you can set URL for both live and staging sites, try adding your live URL on the Production and temporary URL on the Staging.

Thanks,

My temporary URL is http://box2176.temp.domains/~reginadj/ this is what bluehost told me. I do not have a live website. I put the temp URL in the staging site, what is the next step to updating PRO and getting to the cloud demos?
thanks

I just looked again and cannot update PRO, it says I am not validated.

Hi @DancelandDJs,

We like to take a closer look at this, but as I said above that temporary URL redirects us to a 404 not found page (https://i.imgur.com/XrWhlLm.png) so we wont be able to login on it or just see the front-page. Please contact your hosting, there might be some kind of restriction going on on your site. In the meantime, please follow some of the troubleshooting guides provided on the following link.

Problems with Product Validation

Thanks,

Bluehost said use this URL https://www.reginadj.ca
Please let me know if this works
thank you

Update - It validated after I put the above URL in both the staging and live .Please let me know where I can learn more about this so I can understand what just happened - thanks!

Hi @DancelandDJs,

Thank you for updating us and glad this is now sorted out. Yes, that URL is loading now.

That prevous URL shows the HTTPs error. I think that is the cause of the problem. Our theme API code can not access the URL in question as it hits that warning. You need to disable the SSL enforcing from the server or create a valid SSL certificate. But as you say this is now sorted out. Cheers!
