Blog pages, theme and background colour

I am having issues making the type of blog page (showing them all in one place) and individual blog pages.

I have my blog: https://the-map.io/insights/
Then my individual pages eg : https://the-map.io/product-launch-assure/

I would like to keep the overall page, then match the style on the blog page, I have no background colour and would like to change this and the text colour. I seem unable to change the template used

I check your website and since you are using Pro, I suggest that you use the Layout Builder functionality to customize your blog and individual pages.

Hi @marc_a, I’m not sure how I am able to use this layout builder for a post if I am unable to actually change the template of that post?

I have created a simple template for this, in this case called “Blog Pages”:

However when I am editing my post, this template is not able to be used in the post as a template:

Hi Chris,

The Template you are referring to named Blog Page is not the Page Template which can be used as you are expecting. You can use that template as content on any page while using the Cornerstone page builder. So I would request you follow the suggestion given by my colleague and create a Layout for the blog and individual page.

Thanks! A rather complicated way of creating post pages but I do understand that with lots of post pages it’ll save time in the long run!
