Blog pages missing exerpt

Hi There,

We have started creating blog posts on this page

The first two worked great. The second two posts created though are not showing up the initial 100 character exerpt that I have set on the theme option. Can anyone suggest why?

Hey Chris,

Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked your blog page and I see the Excerpt Length is working fine, Please note, the Excerpt Length field shows the number of words and not the characters so if you’ve input 100 in the Excerpt Length field, your blog posts will have first 100 words.

Now you can adjust the number as per your need. Hope this helps!

How can I get the firs 100 words of the blogs “Win a Cushion!” and “Kitchen Transformation Time-lapse” to show up on the blog page https://www.philipclay.com/our-blog/ ?

Hi Chris,

You can add a manual excerpt in case no excerpt is generated.

Hi there,

The exerpt option has worked. I’m not sure why the auto exerpt function in the theme didn’t.

Hi Chris,

It’s because you are using cornerstone for your posts and the content are wrap in a shortcode.
