Where would I get started on redesigning the index page for the masonry blog to include author and date.
Currently using Ethos layout.

The author and date are part of the post meta that you can turn ON/OFF in Pro > Theme Options > Blog > Content.
Are you using the Pro theme? It is best that you create a custom blog index layout using the Pro > Layout Builder. If you are not familiar yet with the layout builder, please check this out:
