Blank h1 across all posts

I seem to have a blank h1 tag across all my blog posts.

Here are two example posts:

Please tell me how to fix this.

Hello @sanachoudary,

Getting rid of the blog header area requires a bit of customization. Please install and activate the child theme and login through FTP then go to wp-content/themes/x-child and create the following directory path framework/legacy/cranium/headers/views/renew/ then inside the renew directory, create the file `wp-header.php. Edit the file then add this code to the file:

<?php

// =============================================================================
// VIEWS/RENEW/WP-HEADER.PHP
// -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
// Header output for Renew.
// =============================================================================

?>

<?php x_get_view( 'global', '_header' ); ?>

  <?php x_get_view( 'global', '_slider-above' ); ?>

  <header class="<?php x_masthead_class(); ?>" role="banner">
    <?php x_get_view( 'global', '_topbar' ); ?>
    <?php x_get_view( 'global', '_navbar' ); ?>
  </header>

  <?php x_get_view( 'global', '_slider-below' ); ?>

Kindly note that since this is a custom code that changes the default behavior/display of the theme, you will be responsible to maintain or update the code in case you require further changes or if the code stops working in future updates. If you are uncertain how to proceed, it would be best to get in touch with a developer.

Hope this helps.

I already have a child theme installed and activated. The FTP login seems complicated. Any way I can give you my login info and have you make these changes for me?

It would help out significantly.

Hello @sanachoudary,

The empty h1 is because you have left blank blog title in X > Theme Options > Renew > Blog Options. Please insert a blog title to avoid the empty h1.

By the way, be advised that we have released X 7.2.3 and Cornerstone 4.2.3. It is now available in automatic updates. You can now update to this latest version. This latest release contains fixes for several issues so be sure to check out the changelog (http://theme.co/changelog/).

After doing the updates, always remember to clear all caches (if you are using WP Rocket, WP SuperCache or W3 Total Cache) when updating so that the code from the latest release is always in use. This will help you to avoid any potential errors.

Hope this helps.

I don’t want this additional h1 on each blog post separate from the blog post title. How can I remove this? Is the code shared by Jade earlier the only way?

Hi Sana,

Yes, if you want to get rid of the extra h1 on the blog posts, please follow the instructions I have provided.

Hope this helps.
