Beta: When in "Customize" tab, clicking the Element does not switch back to Element settings anymore

Hi!

With or without the Preserve Inspector Group turned on, the old behavior is gone. When in the Customize tab, if we clicked the element, the sidebar used to switch back to element settings. Now it stays in the Customize tab.

Thanks! I’m not seeing this happen now, so it could be something that we’ve corrected already. Let me know if you still see it once we get this next beta pushed out.

Hi @alexander

This is still happening to me in Beta 5. When I click on the element and go into its Customize tab, and if I click the Element after that, it doesn’t switch back to the top-level settings tab. For example, on a Headline it should go back to the Text tab.

Ok, I think I might have missed what you said before. You’re inspecting the same element again (what’s already inspected). I was able to confirm that and add some logic to let it reset to the first group.
