Is there any other terminology we can come up with for “Classic (v2)” sections and rows and all that jazz? Updating current client sites to the latest version makes all of my recent work appear outdated when they load up the builder.

At the moment, the only think that comes to mind to help your situation would be if we added a filter that let you disable appending “Classic” to the element name. It wouldn’t be as forward facing as a preference since I wouldn’t recommend it, but it’s possible on the backend with a one liner in functions.php. This could get confusing since there would be multiple elements of the same type, but would help your situation. Let me know how that feels to you. Open to discussing other ideas as well.
