Beta: Some Announced Features

Hi!

I am curious if some of the very interesting features announced for this Cycle will still make their way into it. :slight_smile:

  • The ability to inspect and update multiple Elements of the same type at once
  • The ability to lock an Element to prevent it from being updated via bulk selection or copy/paste to all actions
  • Make the contents of an entire column a clickable link

Hi @Misho,

re: the 3rd point… Kory mentioned in one of my posts earlier that clickable columns was linked with the index layout builder which is coming in the next stage of this beta.

not sure about the others though but it would be nice :wink:

We’ve not quite made the call on these yet. These two + responsive styling are the things we don’t have developed yet, and would really like to be in this update but haven’t decided on for the sake of time. The first two could be really important workflow improvements to working with archive layouts and grids/lists of posts. If we don’t get them in, they’ll be part of a subsequent smaller release. This update turned out to be massive, so we will probably have 1-2 much smaller release cycles next.

Make the contents of an entire column a clickable link

This will be in the next beta phase including the archive builder.
