Beta 6 - Header and footer reverts to default for logged out users

Hi there,

I tried updating a site running the latest non-beta version of Pro and updated to Beta 6. I’m seeing a strange issue in Beta 6 where for logged out users the default X/Pro “theme options”-based header and footer is shown, rather than the globally assigned header. Interestingly, when selecting Header or Footer from the builder, I’m not seeing them:

It’s the same thing for headers (and layouts). When logged in I can see the header and footer and edit them using the “Edit Header” / " Edit Footer" buttons in the admin bar.

I can confirm this is a problem in my testing. If I am logged in the site looks fine, if I log out then I see default headers and footers. (I have cleared all caches etc.)

I’ve upgraded to Beta 6 on a backup of my own site and headers and footers are gone. (I’ve decided to test the upgrade process on a site that is already built as so far all my testing has been limited to a fresh install.)

Sorry for the delay here. I’ve given this a shot and I’m not able to reproduce it. Would you mind sharing login credentials? I could take a closer look on the site.

@urchindesign if you don’t mind letting me login, feel free to open a new thread.

There’s a possibility this was solved with some changes we’ve been working on which is why I’m not getting it anymore, in that case I could install a development build (or just the next patch if it’s ready) and get it fixed for you.
