Beta 6.2.0: Passive listeners

First of all, I love the new Accordion and Tab elements. I tested them and found no issues for now.

I love the Lottie player! So far I had to add Lottie files through FTP. This will be so much more convenient.

There is a small typo, the default name of the player is “Lotte Player”.

It is amazing that you find time to devote for performance improvements. Pro proved to be great out of the box, but there are always new opportunities.

I see that more passive listeners are added. Mobile Pagespeed Insights shows this:

That’s for the file /wp-content/themes/pro-6.2.0-beta1/cornerstone/assets/js/site/cs-classic.05b4a79.js.

Not sure if this is local for me, or something that can also be fixed.

All in all, fantastic work!

Awesome glad it is serving you well! Where are you seeing “Lotte Player”?

The passive listeners are getting added and audited one by one starting with scroll. Those other events have not been touched yet, but the goal is flying colors on all speed tests so yes it will be fixed. Some might take longer, like the offcanvas actively blocks scroll through events. I don’t really like how the disable body scroll works (just try it on mobile), so even that’s something we will be handling. It’s a process though so I’m aiming for end of year for the most fantastic frontend experience.

Hi Charlie, please disregard that. I mixed it up with something else.
