Beta 4: saving interrupted if the browser tab is not in focus until the end

Hi!

I noticed that when I make a change in Cornerstone and hit save, (in Chrome) the page won’t get saved if I navigate away to a different browser tab.

I think this wasn’t the case before. Clicking save is a “done deal”, and we shouldn’t have to wait inside the tab. Probably just a bug.

Thanks, @Misho…I’ll note this down to be looked into.

@Misho, when we tested this internally, it doesn’t seem like we are able to recreate this. To test, I created a larger page and then went up to the first section on the page, changed the background color, saved it, then tabbed over to a new Chrome tab for about 10-15 seconds. When I came back, the changes were saved in Cornerstone.

Are there any further steps or bits of information you can provide to help us understand what you might be seeing here, as at this time we cannot seem to replicate it.

Thanks!

Thanks @kory!

I was editing a few different pages, and with the middle mouse click I opened them all in Cornerstone with the idea that I do a quick edit on each, save and move to the next one.

Most of them didn’t get saved, but right now I am unsuccessfully trying to recreate that. I’ll keep an eye on this and let you know it gets back.

Thanks!

Sounds good!
