Beta 4: Conditions disappeared from buttons after updating

Hi!

I had ACF conditions on buttons, on CPT layouts. They were showing/hiding those buttons based on the ACF toggle state.

Lower on the Layout I had sections that also responded to the same conditions. So if there is no section, there is also no button.

After updating to Beta 4, The conditions remained on the sections, but all conditions disappeared from buttons.

I manually copied the conditions from the sections to buttons, and everything is working now.

Thanks, @Misho. I’ve noted this down to be looked into. In case it might help us, are you able to provide credentials to the site and context on where this was happening (what page specifically, where on the page, et cetera).

Sure. I attached the Secure note.

I double-checked the development subdomain that still has Pro 5 installed. Conditions are alive and well there. It definitely happened on the update to Beta. The “Production” site is still not indexed and live for the pubic, so I decided to test the Beta 4 on it.

Hey @Misho always good to hear from you. Do you have this data available prior to you adding back in the conditions manually? I noticed sadrzaj does not have conditions is that a good example of a button that did have conditions in Pro 5?

Hi @charlie!

No, that one leads to the main content which is always there, so it wasn’t dynamic. Sorry for adding in the conditions manually before contacting you. I made changes in the footer that were not compatible with Pro 5, so I couldn’t left the site reverted back to it. I had to put the conditions back in.

No worries thanks for bringing this to our attention, I’ll keep this in mind next time I’m looking at conditionals.
