both content elements are hiding under the footer? and not showing the full content
Hey, @scotbaston!
When working in the layout builder, to see those elements outputting correctly you need to make sure you’re previewing it in the proper context. See my image below where I’ve selected a “Post” post type, and then selected an actual post from my blog and output these Elements:
If you’re not doing that, you may not be able to see the output properly as those Elements don’t work anywhere on the site, they’re meant for certain singular instances.
As for the footer, I would need to see that live. Can you please provide a link for me to see that?
Thanks!
Hey Kory,
it was viewing a blog post as per your screenshot

Hi @scotbaston,
I’m sorry for the delay here. We’re working on wrapping things up for the archive builder beta. I’m not seeing the issue right now so maybe you got it worked out.
I’ll check it out when beta 4 comes out
Sounds good!
Hi @alexander,
I’ve checked these on Beta 4 and it is still a problem, but I have also found out more of the cause.
both content element are within a grid. When I put the elements in a row, they display correctly.
when inside the grid, they display as shown in the post above
Hope that helps? I can give access if that helps?
@alexander, ignore all of that… I dug a little deeper and the problem was related to the grid set up (it was missing some values at the cell level) ie user error!
Ok! Thanks for the heads up.
