So, this may have been brought up before but I seem to have a gnarly time clicking on my header/footer while in the builder. Clicking on it in the preview opens me back up in the content builder nearly every time.
Good point. The size of that clickable area is pretty big and it’s easy for stray clicks to land there. Just shared some similar thoughts on that over here:
Your take on a confirmation vs making the clickable area a small button?
@alexander In the case of unintentional clicks, I’m cool with a confirmation.
That said, I think the issue I’m attempting to describe above is more of a bug.
- Open up footer builder
- Click one of the footer bars in the preview
- Immediately jumps me to content instead of my footer bar
Haven’t messed with z-index or anything. Happens from time to time in header builder too. Video in note.
Hi Josh,
Sorry for not confirming here sooner. Just wanted to let you know this is resolved for the next patch. It will wait until the footer elements render, then scroll down. It also scrolls properly anytime you inspect an element that is outside the viewport in any builder.
