@Misho, I’ve fixed ctrl not working, and also fixed that javascript error. Thank you for sharing the log! Very helpful.
One follow up on this topic… can the preset section be at the top please as they are accessed a lot and are now furthest away possible
@scotbaston, I see your point here. There are a few reasons we had for moving it. First would be it’s a bit of an advanced feature that we felt best if new users didn’t see first. Next is it always takes up that 60px at the top even when closed, giving you less room on screen for controls when elements are first inspected.
For Pro 6.0 (Theme Options) we’re going to add a feature that we are calling Symbols for the moment. It will probably replace the need for most Global Blocks since it will be like a preset that you can change from anywhere and it automatically updates all instances. When this is fully realized, we’ll most likely be moving the management of presets and symbols outside of the Inspector workspace. It might be a button akin to the “preview manager” that reveals a new UI for managing element templating in general. The difference is that the button will likely be in the “element navigation” bar near breadcrumbs. This is all really preliminary and we haven’t done proper discover on the feature yet. All that being said, I understand that it isn’t ideal for this update but we are quickly moving towards Theme Options where things will come back into balance.
Or maybe even better (if that is possible) that you can drag and drop them yourself in the order you prefer
@SchoonhovenOntwerpStudio, that would be pretty cool, but would take quite a bit to create that state management - we’ve got some more inspector updates planned so we can keep that in mind.
