Beta 2 and 3 - Color drag-drop and elements configuration

Please check this video: https://www.loom.com/share/f02d6c6502f1411184b875e9828a9466

Again, this might fall in the category of the features that are disabled right now but i just wanted to let you know.

As you acn see, when you try to drag and drop the color, it basically becomes a transparent element and doesn’t leave much space/trace of where it’s at the moment so it’s very difficult to position it correctly.

This was tested in the header but since the color palette is now global, i think you only need to:

  • Open the palette
  • Create a few colors
  • Move one of the colors to another position

and then you’ll be able to recreate the problem.

At the same time, i found this other issue in the header/footer: https://www.loom.com/share/3b916e2ef2cc42deb0d813b56bf6724e

I had tested this before in the content and it worked ok, so i’m not sure what’s going on.

As you can see, the problem is that the alignment is not working for the text element when added in a container from the Header or Footer.

The rich text/ WYSIWYG Editor is not working either.

How to recreate the problem:

  • Go to the header/footer of your choice
  • Add a bar
  • Add a container inside the bar
  • Add a Text element inside the container
  • Change the alignment (won’t work)
  • Try to add styling to the text through the inline editor in Rich Text mode (won’t work).

It’s good to know that it DOES work if you double click the element and style it there.

In Beta 3 the behavior explained in the first thread has changed (old behavior: https://www.loom.com/share/f02d6c6502f1411184b875e9828a9466 ).

You can see the color being dragged now BUT you can’t position it anywhere, so it’s stuck where it is making this behaviour a bit useless.

Confirmed. Thanks!

This will be fixed in the next patch.
