Ok, I’ve a strange one here… using screen previews and the inspector for MD and SM sizes gives the dreaded Uh Oh!
Thank you! I’ve been clicking around trying to stumble into this and haven’t been able to trigger it. I don’t think it’s anything on your end, but probably some magic combination that’s causing it to hang up.
Would it be possible to log in to that site and look around? Thanks!
of course, no problem…
Please be aware this is Dev site, not staging… so hoping to go live with this in a couple of weeks
A little bit more info, Since installing Beta 11 I can replicate this problem but only under the following situation
in MD & SM view modes only, when I click on the post preview (see video) that is what triggers the Uh Oh!
Thanks! So I’ve tried a number of things on your site and still haven’t triggered it. I tried previewing ona bunch of different pages. I also tried using Firefox Developer Edition like your video just in case. I’m at a loss for why that’s happening
Could you try opening the developer tools of your browser and letting me know if there are any errors being logged to the console? Thanks!
Hi @alexander, did you try it on the single layout page as that is where the problem is showing for me
I did I also tried switching the current page to a bunch of different ones to see if that triggered it (while on your site). Anything popping up in the error console? That might give me a clue to what’s going on.
I’ve just tried on my laptop (not main machine), and can’t replicate the problem… I’ll see if I still have the problem on the desktop shortly.
maybe rc1 fixed it?? or maybe something specific to my main machine?
@alexander Just to confirm, I’ve tried to recreate the problem on RC1 on the desktop that had the problem originally and it no longer has an issue
Problem Solved! or at least lost for now
Ok that’s good news! We’ll keep an eye out for it, but hopefully it’s gone for good.
I’ve managed to recreate it!!!
These are the console errors I can see
To replicate the error, on the MS or SM views, I clicked just below the post ‘content’ element, in the empty space
Thank you so much! That’s perfect. I still wasn’t able to reproduce any of the circumstances that let to it happening but I was able to find the mentioned type error from your logs and fix it.
That’s excellent news… Thanks for your patience with this one
Thank you! Really appreciate you tracking it down. I did the easy part once we knew what the error was.
