I like the new launch pro option in the top admin bar but having it in the side menu adds extra steps. It would be great if the Pro menu in the side menu allowed you to launch straight into the portion of Pro you want to use. i.e. keep it working like it currently does.
With the new option I now need to click launch pro, wait for it to load and then I can click the thing I want to get too like theme options, layout builder etc.
Thanks for the feedback here. I’m making a note to discuss with the team Monday. The challenge is that most of those screens no longer have a landing page like Headers, Content, Footers etc. because they’re all part of the navigation menu. At a minimum maybe we bring Theme Options back, or maybe there’s a way to load the app with one of the menu items pre selected.
Just to further this conversation.
From the top nav if we click launch pro it at least goes straight to the builder.
From the side nav we click launch, then we don’t go into the builder, we need to still click launch again. As a minimum clicking launch from the side nav should do the same as clicking launch from the to nav bar.
Oh! Good point! That sidebar URL is incorrect. Notice how there’s /pro and /pro/launch. The /pro is meant to be accessed either directly, or just on your first visit to the tool. Otherwise, the /pro/launch URL (should be both buttons) takes you to whatever you were working on last. I’ve corrected that so they are the same for the next patch.
