Beta 1: Clear Style Cache

Getting an error when trying to clear the style cache under Pro settings.

Redirects to a blank page:
https://urchin5.test-website.co.za/wp-admin/admin.php?custom_app_slug=&permissions={}&tco-permissions-macros=text-only

Thanks! I’ve checked this out and it isn’t happening for me. Could you try something for me? While on the settings page but before clicking the button, open up your browser’s developer tools. Let me know if you see any Javascript errors. Also, what OS/browser are you using when experiencing this?

Not sure it is working now. Perhaps because I had a fresh install. I had upgraded from Pro 3 but a completely fresh site so that could have been the issue. Now that I am trying I have been fiddling around.

Ok, maybe it was a case of a file missing after installing the theme. Thanks for confirming! Glad to hear it is working now.

This seems to have come back with Beta 2. I am getting the same error again.

I don’t see anything obvious in the console but perhaps it is because the page redirects away so quickly.

The button changes to red and says “Clear Style Cache Error” and then redirects to:
/wp-admin/admin.php?custom_app_slug=&permissions={}&tco-permissions-macros=text-only

This is directly after upgrading to Beta 2. I’ve then played around a bit, created pages etc. and come back and the issue persists.

Thanks! If you’re still seeing this, could you open the developer tools on the Settings screen and let me know if you see any console errors? That might give a clue to what’s going on.

I have looked at the inspector (I presume you mean my browsers developer tools).

I can see anything obvious as the button changes instantly and then the page redirects away to a blank page.
wp-admin/admin.php?custom_app_slug=&permissions={}&tco-permissions-macros=text-only

I am happy to give you a login if you want as it is only a test site to play around.

Thanks! I logged in and it’s working here. Wondering if perhaps the old javascript files got cached in the browser somehow.

Strange. It works for me in Google Chrome but is broken in Firefox. I think possibly the time it was working may have been when I was using Chrome. Keep in mind this was a fresh install. After installing Pro I upgraded to the Beta so the first thing I did was try to clear the file cache. At that time I had the problem. Later when I tried again it was working but I think that was in Chrome.

I have done several forced refreshes and manually cleared my file cache in Firefox and I still have the problem.

Thanks, I’m still not sure what would cause that but we will keep any eye out for anything suspicious.
