Background Video Not Playing anywhere

Hi, I have read several forums and I believe I have followed them. Originally I had the video on Vimeo, but I downloaded it to the site, and used that as the source. I also made sure that I am using the latest version of Themeco, but the video is still not playing on the Homepage Hero image. Please help!

It might be the issue of cache or any plugin conflict or maybe a custom CSS/JS issue. I would suggest you troubleshoot with a few of the common issues before we investigate your settings.

  1. Testing for Plugin Conflict
  2. CSS/JS Customization
  3. Version Compatibility
  4. Disabling Cache

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin level username and password
  • Exact page URL

Hi Alyssa,

Thank you for the credentials, it seems deactivating and reactivating the JetPack resolves the issue. Not sure what was really causing it, it could be caching-related, nevertheless, it’s working now.

Thank you! Glad it was something easy. I did notice that the video is not playing on mobile. Can you please take a look?
