Automatically Generate Table of Contents

Hello Themeco.

I know this may be beyond your scope of support but please help me. I love how clean the TOC looks on each pages of Themeco Docs https://theme.co/docs/element-api-primer. Please can you help me with the code to get similar Table of Contents for my website? I surely will know where to place them and how to place them in the child theme files.

Thanks for writing to us.

Please note our documentation site is not a WordPress platform. It is not possible to generate it automatically and there is no option in the theme to generate it automatically. You may search the plugin in the WordPress plugin repository. Please note we have not tested such plugins at our end so we can not recommend you any and also we don’t provide any third-party plugin support. It is out of the support scope.

If you want to have similar features you can follow these steps.

  1. Add the section ID from the customize ---->ID
  2. Use the Button or Raw content element where you can use the custom anchor tag and link the section.
