Automatic update

Hi,
maybe a stupid question, but how do I get automatic update to x theme. I registered my license, but in the dasboard I can´t find a button to receive the automatic update. I know have 5.1.0 and I like to update to 5.2.3

Thank you very much and best regards
Kerstin

Hi @praxisnah2016,

Thanks for writing in.

Check the thread below on how to run an automatic updates.

If still not showing any update notification, re validate your setup. Link below, will show you on how to re validate.

Let us know how it goes.

Thanks.

Hi Nico,

Problem is solved!

Thanks Kerstin

Great to hear!

We have a similar issue, our setup is validated but there’s no automatic update since (at least) 1.1.1.

Did we forget something?

Hello, @magikweb,

Please, next time, create a separated thread with your details because we can answer it better and efficiently.

Now, about your problem, you need to clear your cache or disable any cache plugin (if you are using one) and go to Dashboard > Updates and you will see the newest versions there: http://prntscr.com/h7r1k6

Thank you for the follow-up @john,
We’ll start a new thread next time, we thought it would be convenient.

After emptying the cache and checking the updates, only WooCommerce is listed. See: https://prnt.sc/h7rkyr

Could it be because the target site is under a WPMU?
Also, if I update manually, will it update the database (when needed)?

Thanks again!

Hello There,

Thanks for writing in! If you are using Multisite set up, you can check the updates in Network updates or go to the Themes section. In most cases, you will have to update the theme manually so please follow the steps from this knowledge base: https://theme.co/apex/forum/t/setup-updating-your-themes-and-plugins/62

Right after you updated the theme manually, as soon as you go to X > Overview, the database will gets updated.

Hope this helps.

Thank you, we will update it manually now that we know it won’t break the database.

Have a great day!

You’re welcome!
We’re glad we were able to help you out.
