After updating the Pro theme to the newest version and editing something in Pro header the assignment isn’t working anymore. I set the header to “entire site” and even tried to assign it to a specific page (just to double check) but it’s not working. It’s always showing the default Ethos stack header.
I’ve tried to disable all plugins and switching from child to basic theme. That doesn’t fix the error.

Thank you for reaching out to us. I checked your setup and upon testing I found Polylang plugin is conflicting with the theme. I have deactivated the plugin and the header assignment started to work.
I’d suggest you to use a supported plugin to avoid such conflicts and potential errors, you can find the list of supported plugins here https://theme.co/docs/version-compatibility
I’ve reactivated the plugin since it’s your live site and I can see the correct assigned header on your pages but it may break when you make any change in the header.
To avoid such conflicts, I’d recommend you to use a supported WPML plugin instead of Polylang plugin .

Ahh thanks a lot! As I said I deactivated all plugins but Polylang seems to “only” affect assigning or editing headers. When it’s assingned and you don’t change anything in header when Polylang is active it’s working. WPML is out of budget for this project. But you helped a lot with your test, thank you!
