Another breadcrumbs question

I know this has been asked and I searched but the answer to turn breadcrumbs on doesn’t work for me. In the customize section, I selected crumbs already. My header is built with cornerstone.

Can you give me a suggestion?

Thanks for writing in!

Please be advised that all the settings in the Theme Options > Headers will only be applied to the default header. If you have built a custom header in the Header Builder, you will have to edit your custom header and use the Breadcrumbs element to be able to have a breadcrumb in your custom header.

Thank you very much that sort of worked for my custom header. I deleted it until I hear how to fix these issues below. Thank you

The main problem is that my header has two bars.
The top one is navigation with a drop down menu. I think that’s via an uber menus widget?
Then a bar for breadcrumbs.
Problem is that navigation bar drop down comes down BEHIND the breadcrumbs bar.

ALSO

  1. Could you please tell me how to exclude “category” from the breadcrumbs?

  2. How do you make it so breadcrumbs text wraps around when browser is resized or someone is using mobile?

All those points can be achieved, but it requires custom coding to exclude category and also custom CSS code to adjust the breadcrumbs on a smaller screen. But, that is beyond the scope of Theme Support, I would suggest you hire a developer who can assist you in doing the customization or you can avail of our newly launched service called One TOTAL CARE, where we offer small customizations

– WordPress Site URL & Login URL
– WordPress Admin username/password
