After X update my responsive headers skip size after window resize

Hi there,

After recent X-updates the headers on my site appear correctly on page load. But the if I resize the browser window, either bigger or smaller, the headers immediately skip to XXXXXL.

I’ve used the classic custom headline element, with heading level h2, looks like h3 and h-resp-main class.

Please advice.

Kind regards,
Eelco

Hi @eelcomenkveld,

We have visited the two URLs you mentioned and didn’t find any issues as mentioned.

Please check your browser version, please update if it is not.
Please check with your browser cache and try by disabling the browser extensions, which may create problems some times.

Also try by disabling temporarily all optimizations like CSS / JS minification and concatenation, caching, etc.
Also, find the common issues here -> https://theme.co/docs/common-issues

Hope that works for you

Thanks

Hi Tristup,

I’ve checked and tried all you suggestions. No succes.
I’m also surprised you couldn’t replicate the issues, as they occur on multiple browsers and systems.
Can I send you an attachment showing the problem?

Best,
Eelco

Hi @eelcomenkveld,

Now its clear that you are refrring to the text over the big image.
It seems some custom font size is creating problem, which styles are added to the specific Classic Custom Headline elements.
You need to adjust that by going into the Style option.

If that is doesnot resolve your issue, please share your site credentials to examine.
Hope you wil not mid to sharing it in our secure note.

That’d be great, thank you.

Hello @eelcomenkveld,

I have logged in and checked your page. The issue with the headline is because of the responsive text. I went ahead and changed the class selector so that it will not affect your headline.
