Advice on live filtering posts

Hi,

I would like to have a section similar to the section on this website where I can categorise the schools in our academy and for the posts/content below it to change depending on your selection:

I know that I could get close with the grid plugin and maybe look toward custom fields in posts etc but I was just looking for your thoughts on what you think may be the best (easiest ) option? On your Pro website itself you have something similar:

https://theme.co/pro (under the section: Hundreds of Design Assets)

There’s no option to have a filtering option using the Pro theme. I suggest that you will go with Essential Grid or The Grid plugin because the theme.co website is not built on WordPress.
