Advanced Product Fields by Studio Wombat not displaying in the cart or checkout - update

Hi, I’m using the Advanced Product Fields plugin by Studio Wombat to create custom products. This plugin gives the ability to show additional fields in the cart and checkout but with the PRO theme active they are not displayed. I tried changing the theme to Storefront and the fields are displayed correctly.

Is there a way to make this plugin work with PRO? Thanks

I contacted the plugin developers and here is the response:

After reviewing your cart page, it looks like your theme is using a custom cart template. Because it’s a custom implementation, the theme controls what content is displayed — and in this case, it seems the field details have been left out, likely in an effort to keep the cart layout “clean”.

I’d recommend reaching out to your theme developer and asking if they can revert the cart template to the default WooCommerce template, or at least modify it to include the missing field data. Visually, there shouldn’t be a significant difference between the two templates.

Thank you for the inquiry.

Did you modify the cart page using the CS Builder? Try creating a new page, add the [woocommerce_cart] shortcode or the Cart block, and assign this page as the cart page. Let us know if the custom fields display with this setup.

Yes I use the CS builder. The page i’ve created is cart. Thanks for yoru response

Thank you for the info. We created a new page called “New Cart”, added the Cart block and set it as the default cart page. It seems to be displaying the additional fields from the plugin as shown in the screenshot below.
