Adding pagination

Hi,

How do I add pagination to the results of the Looper Provider > Query Builder? I can set the number of posts via the Custom Count settings but the output doesn’t include pagination for additional results.

I tried adding the Post Pagination Element but that doesn’t work (unless I installed and set it up improperly).

TIA

Hi @adventurer,

Thanks for reaching out.
Please find the answer to your queries below.

The reason behind the pagination won’t work is the Looper and Post Pagination elements are not connected. For now pagination and the navigation element works with only a few pre-defined templates.

I have checked your third post result and all the excerpt is left aligned. If you are still seeing that, please provide any screenshot marked with the issue to recognize it.

You can increase the feature image height by increasing the height of the figure element as shown in the given screenshot.

Hope it helps.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply.

In response to your answer for Q1, I removed the Post Pagination because I couldn’t get it to work. I’ve just added it in but not sure how it works or connects. I looked but I couldn’t find any documentation on it. So, are you saying that the Post Pagination will not work on my page?

In response to your answer for Q2, the Sangria post excerpt in the Looper results is not so much centered aligned, but rather the wrap is strange as the overflow (second line) of the first line is centered. Upon further analysis, the other 3 post’s excerpts are a single line so there’s no word wrap. It’s just the Sangria post excerpt that is long. So, I’m thinking it’s the word wrap that is the issue. Is there a word wrap control? NOTE, this issue is only with the truncated Looper results on the Destination menu bar (the actual post is OK).

In response to your answer for Q3, I finally figured out that I have to change the Max Height value to get a taller image than the Height value.

Hello @adventurer,

1.) The Post Pagination element will only work if you are working with the custom Archive layouts in the Layout Builder (Cornerstone > Layout Builder) .

I have inspected your Destination pages and you have a normal page. Regretfully the pagination will not work on your pages.

2.) You just need to align the Excerpt element to the left.

Best Regards.

Thanks!

Not a big deal now but I will have to figure out a workaround for the pagination in a couple of months. Suggestions?

You are most welcome @adventurer
