Hi I’m trying to create a new header/menu. I’m not using the PRO version. I currently have the Ethos 3 template but i’d like to change the header. Right now it looks like this:

Can you please let me know what my options are.

Thanks for asking. 
Looks like you are using Uber menu, I suggest you to please take a look at Uber menu documentation to style the navigation as per your requirement. You also have the option to use default X Theme menu.

How can I get the search bar from the X theme to work with Ubermenu? i would like my search bar to open fullscreen like the photo below. Is the any code I can use so my search bar always opens fullscreen.
Also I can’t get the X theme search icon to align with Ubermenu

Integrating UberMenu with X features would require some custom development. SevenSpark has an article on it. Please see https://sevenspark.com/docs/ubermenu-3/theme-integration/x. It’s a bit old but it still generally applies. Other parts was just updated like x/framework/views/global/_nav-primary.php is now located in x\framework\legacy\cranium\headers\views\global\_nav-primary.php. The child theme directory is still the same.
Also note that we provided UberMenu as a means for users to have an alternative menu functionality. It would be the users responsibility to learn how to set it up and integrate with other features of X as this would require custom development which is outside the scope of our support.
