Hi @charlie
Any chance we can get the latest ACF Pro updates please?
Thanks
Yes it’ll go out by this weekend. Have a great weekend.
It’s available now, thank you!
And again - we need ACF 635 please, vulnerabilities apparently. Bill.
We updated to ACF 6.3.5 on friday. Are you not seeing the update?
I am now. Thanks
@charlie Looking for ACF 6.3.6. It also contains security fixes.
On a side note, is there a way to allow us to add our own ACF license to our sites so we can gain access to the updates as they come out?
ACF 6.3.6 was released 28 August 2024.
I’ve uploaded the official plugin, as this delay to security updates keeps happening. It’s not acceptable, the bundled items should be updated ASAP for security purposes and a notification sent out to let people know. Bill.
Ideally, I would just like to add my own life time license key.
The only real issue I see is that the ACF releases, given how they are integrated into Pro, probably need to be tested by the team before being released.
We updated it earlier today. We’re trying to improve the speed of this process internally.
If you define your license in your child theme, it will ignore our updating code.
define('ACF_PRO_LICENSE', 'YOUR_ACF_PRO_KEY');
I sent a request to update it. Have a great day.
Hi @charlie - Has there been any update from the ACF folks? 6.3.9 was a security release that they put out on 10/15.
Hi @charlie,
Following on from @DoncoMarketing , do we have any clarity with access to ACF Pro going forwards? does the current methodology still work going forwards (considering the faff of Wordpress Vs WPEngine)
I requested an update internally to ACF Pro 6.3.9.
ACF Pro was never affected by their current fallout as they use their own update channels for ACF Pro and not through Wordpress.org. How we supply the plugin to users created prior to April 1st 2024, is currently unaffected.
We go into more detail here. Have a great day.
