ACF Options Page not appearing

I have an example on one of my sites where the ACF fields from the options page appeared in the CS dynamic lookup fields as expected:

But now on the site I’m currently working on they don’t. ACF Pro is installed on both and I set them both up with very similar fields for publishing/managing social media links.

Is there some setting in CS or Pro that has to be turned on for them to appear here?

Hey Nicholas,

The options fields should appear automatically when ACF Pro is active. Before we investigate, please ensure the following are set.

  1. ACF Pro version - Make sure both sites have the same ACF Pro version
  2. Pro version - Ensure both sites have the same Pro version
  3. Field group location rules - In ACF, check that your options page fields have the location rule set to “Options Page”
  4. Options page creation - Verify the options page exists in ACF > Options Pages
  5. Field group status - Make sure the field group is published/active

If all of them are set, please provide the following info in a Secure Note

  • WordPress Login URL
  • Admin username and password

Confirming:

  1. Yes they are both on the PRO versions
  2. It appears the working site was outdated, but even after upgrading to the most recent version it appears to still be working on that site.
  3. Both field groups are registered to my Options Page
  4. Registered the page through AFC
  5. The field groups are published and editable

I have checked your website and found the ACF option field is coming up as expected. If you are still facing the same problem, I would suggest you check once by clearing all types of cache, including the System Cache from Cornerstone > Settings > System > Clear System Cache, and check in the incognito/private mode of the browser.
