A couple of small strange issues on homepage with button and effects

On the home page for bendercareycap.com, when you move the cursor anywhere into the left hand column below the fold (area is titled “What We Do” ) you will see that the “Learn More” button changes color to it’s “interaction” color. Obviously, this should only be happening if the cursor floats over the button itself, not just anywhere within the column, like it’s doing now.

Also, that same column is set to have the effect to Fade In Big from left upon scroll. The right column works fine and does the effect by fading in “big” from right when scrolling down. The left column is set to do the same, but it doesn’t do it. It’s just stagnant.

I believe I just fixed the issue with the button interaction(?). Under effects I had turned on “Link Child Interactions”…I thought maybe that would fix the animation effect issue, by turning it off, which I did, but animation effect still not working. But now, button only changes to it’s interaction color when cursor over it. But please check still on your end. Thanks

Hello @444media,

Thanks for writing in! Yes, I am seeing the interaction color of the button.

To be familiar with the Effects, I would recommend that you check this out:

Best Regards.

I’m familiar with how effects works…but there’s an issue with the left column not doing the set effect. It worked initially and now does not. The right column works fine and I have compared the effect settings between the two columns and they are exactly the same (except one comes from the left and one from the right).

Additionally, the effects work as set when I’m in the Cornerstone editor…but left column effect not working (Fade In Left Big) when viewed live.

Hi @444media,

I have checked the effect on scroll in the specific section you mentioned and found that the Fade In Left Big is behaving the same as Fade In Left. I suspect this could be a bug on the latest version theme. I will report it to the Issue Tracker for further investigation by our development team.
Alternately, you can use the Delay from Transition to get a similar kind of effect.

Hope it helps.
