I’ve noticed some behavior with the new drag and drop that is a little jarring. Try dragging an image to another spot on the page and it will change size at every drop opportunity and you get jumped around on the page, which is very disorienting. It also makes it hard to drop the image in the desired spot.
Yeah the more I play with it, the more I like a smaller preview approach. I do think the indicator could be more clear, as in not gray and hard to see. Which is why I like the current look more when it isn’t being intrusive to your screen space. Canvas elements were especially finicky. We can have it as a preference as well. Appreciate the feedback.
I do like that you see what you’re dragging at all times, but it should probably be a fixed size.
Another issue I’ve noticed is that the element you’re dragging quickly flashes in/out of drop areas when you move over them.
