From the status report, I remembered this line:
And just as a reminder, all old Global Blocks will work seamlessly with the new Component Builder!
But now that I’m playing around with it, I’m not seeing a Global Block element available in the elements panel.
Am I missing something? How do existing Global Blocks work within this new world of Components?
Making a note to add this to docs as well. The element is now deprecated to keep it out of the experience for new users. Under Cornerstone > Settings in the Dashboard, scroll down to “Elements” then enable “Show In Library” for “Global Block (Deprecated)”
That will restore the ability to add the element. You’ll see the familiar select of existing “Global Blocks” which are the same thing as whole Component Sets at this point. It’s like inserting that whole document vs a single exported component.
