I’m trying to justify text - which doesn’t seem to work until you edit the text field itself. The text element or column element justification won’t take effect until you set the justification onto the text element - thereafter it seems to to work as expected.

I’ve just tried this with a new text element and it’s honoring the text align controls from the text element and any parent.
If you’ve adjusted text alignment using Inline Editing, it’s going to put an inline style on the paragraph tag. This is going to force an alignment on the text that overrides everything above. You can remove this by editing the text in the Inspector directly.
