    Hello,

I get the following message when I try to validate the product, but I cannot see why. As far as I know this code has never been used before.

“Your code is valid but looks like it has already been used on another site. You can revoke and re-assign within your Themeco account.”

Can you please help me out here?

    Kind regards,

    Hi there,

Thanks for writing in. It look you have already used this for another site. Kindly check on your themeco account section and revoke if you find.

If you still can’t find this, you can share your purchase code in a private reply.

    Cheers!

    Hello Lee Kane,

Please create a virtual hostname so that you can use it in assign the license from your themeco account. Please login to your account, revoke the license and assign the license to the hostname you have created. To create a virtual hostname, please check it here: https://delanomaloney.com/2013/07/10/how-to-set-up-virtual-hosts-using-xampp/

    Hope this would help you.

    Hi Pascal,

That message indicates that the code has already been assigned to a URL. Kindly double check as you’ll need to un-assign it on your licenses page before it can be used somewhere else. Also, please try using a domain name without http:// and see if it makes a difference.

    Thank you.

    Hello Jade,

Thank you for looking in to it, and I tried what you suggested. I revoked the site http://dev.comtree.nl and created a new one with only dev.comtree.nl but it still gives me the same error when I try to validate it.

There is no other site I used this license key on. I purchased it and tried to use it for dev.comtree.nl and no other site at all. This is also the only site on which I installed the X-theme.

Can you please help me out. This is going on quite some time now and I need to change our company website.

    Kind regards,
    Pascal de Vos

    Hi there,

The validation is dependent on site’s URL that is usually saved as settings. In Admin > Settings > General, you don’t have URL at all.

    Please check the attached screenshot.

Please set your URLs for both WordPress and Site Address.

    Then validate it again.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

I also have the same problem on the validation. I’ve just upgraded the x-theme to version 4.6.0 and even the WordPress and Site Address are set the validation problem still persist.

“Your code is valid but looks like it has already been used on another site. You can revoke and re-assign within your Themeco account.”

    Any suggestions to fix this?

    Thanks
