Clement LParticipantThat is very sad to hear…
I think I backed up my blog a while ago on my personal computer (I hope so), so will check that and will let you know if I need anymore help.
Thank you very much again for all your explanations!

Clement LParticipantHi,
I found a back up I did last year and tried to import it but it says different type of message like:”Failed to import Media” or “Media “20120803-164350.jpg” already exists”..
Also when I go to media I can’t see any of my photos and when I tried to upload some it doesn’t even works:(
Any suggestion?

Clement LParticipantAnd I haven’t changed the code like you said earlier. Could that code resolve something, if yes where did I get to change it ?

RadModeratorHi there,
No, the code has nothing to do with missing images. You can confirm that by going to file manager and you’ll not see any images. Maybe, your site has folder path configuration and the images are stored on a different path. It’s best to contact your hosting provider for missing images, and why it’s throwing failed import due to existing media but wasn’t really there.
Thanks!

Clement LParticipantHi,
I have contacted them and now at least all my images are in media. They also deactivated all my plugins.when I look in my blog posts there are no images but some codes so I activated visual composer thinking it would work but it doesn’t .. the codes even disappeared..
Would you have any tips to help put the photos back to my posts?
Many thanks,
Clement.September 25, 2016 at 9:17 am #1189776
ChristianModeratorHey Clement,
We’re sorry but we can’t help you with that as the only solution would be to restore a backup.
Thank you for understanding.
