    Hi Gregor,

    After reviewing the information provided above, I would try checking with your hosting provider on this particular issue as it sounds like something related to your setup is causing this. Typically, this is due server configuration problems (i.e. underpowered, traceroute issues, packet loss, permissions errors, et cetera). Additionally, your host will be able to diagnose things much better due to the fact that they have a more complete view of your account and can work behind the scenes with you. If the problem you are experiencing persists after working with your host, don’t hesitate to let us know and we will be happy to assist you. Any relevant information that you can share with us from your host is also greatly appreciated as it will help us to better ascertain the source of the problem.

    Hi there,

    we have renewed the WordPress Core but it looks like there’s a bug in javascript of theme x when you try to install visual composer. See screeenshot attached. Thank you.

    Regards,

    Gregor

    Hi Gregor,

    I can’t seem to replicate this issue in all my test sites.

    Visual Computer installed without an issue everytime.

    I tried installing it to your site manually using ftp but I cannot seem to upload all the plugin files.

    Can you make sure there is enough space in your server to add more plugin.

    Have you tried contacting your hosting provider? Can you share to us what they have found out.

    Thanks

    Hi Paul,

    I’ve contacted my hosting provider but they said everything is fine. Now I’ve updated to Theme X version 4.6.3 an the visual composer is working again 🙂 it still says it needs to be activated and there’s an activation button in the visual composer menue. I don’t know what’s going on there? Can you tell me if I need to activate it or should i leave it like this? Thank you.

    Regards,

    Gregor

    Hi Gregor,

    Visual Composer is an Integrated Plugin of X. You don’t need to activate it to use with X and there is no license key provided for integrated plugins. However if you want the premium features (direct support from WPBakery) then you need to purchase a separate license from CodeCanyon.

    Cheers!

    Hi,

    Kindly provide us the exact url of the page where we can see the issue.

    Please specify which container you are referring to.

    For the mean time you can try adding this in your Custom > Edit Global CSS in the customizer.

    .site {
        background-color: transparent;
    }

    Hope that helps.
