I have some code that is visible on my Woocommerce product pages that I would like to delete or at least not make visible. One of the pages is http://quik-cast.com/product/xd-series-fly-rod-case/

Here is the code that’s visible above the product section:

    [x_tab_nav type=”two-up”] [x_tab_nav_item class=”description_tab” title=”More Information”] [x_tab_nav_item class=”reviews_tab” title=”Reviews”] [/x_tab_nav] [x_tabs] [x_tab class=”description_pane”]

    and above the review section:

    [/x_tab] [x_tab class=”reviews_pane”]

    Hi There,

You have to install & activate the Cornerstone plugin(WordPress dashboard > Plugins > Cornerstone > activate).

If it doesn’t work, please provide us with your admin account so we can take a closer look.

    Thanks.

    That didn’t work.

Not sure how to provide you with admin account? Please specify. Do you mean my Themeco account info?

    Hi there,

Not sure what you meant by “That didn’t work”. Did you install Cornerstone or the Cornerstone installation didn’t work? If your theme is validated, Cornerstone should be installed automatically. So make sure to validate X first – https://community.theme.co/kb/product-validation/

If you have Child Theme active, let’s switch to X for a while and check again.

If you still face the issue, provide your WordPress admin credentials in a private reply.

    Thanks!

    Hello,

I have exactly the same problem on my website. I searched on Google and first result was this product page which shows exactly what’s happening on mine: http://xonamicrofluidics.com/product/round-device-450/

So I followed the above advice but I already had Cornerstone installed and activated. I am using a child theme so I switched back to the main theme but still had the issue.

What can we try next? Do you need admin access?

    Thank you.

    Hello @TomBeast,

Thank you for providing the very detailed information. I have checked your site and see the problem. You have installed the wrong Cornerstone plugin and that you are still using X shortcodes plugin. I have deactivate and deleted X Shortcodes plugin. Please take note that X shortcodes and its functionality has been consolidated within Cornerstone plugin which will be installed and activated automatically upon installing X theme.

I have fixed the issue. Please check your site.

It looks as though I also uploaded the wrong “Cornerstone” plugin like tombeast.

I went searching for it in the X Theme Addons section and noticed this error message at the top…

“We attempted to installed Cornerstone (required by X) automatically, but were unable to. You may need to install Cornerstone manually.”

I tried to download Cornerstone from Themeforest but it was asking for me to pay and I could not find an option to download for current X theme users.

Could you send the zip file to my email address? I prefer to handle this issue myself. I don’t want to give out my admin account as suggested in the prior post.

    Hello There,

Thanks for the updates! Cornerstone will automatically gets installed and activated when you install X. Unless otherwise a certain plugin named Cornerstone (from Archetyped maybe) is active in your site then Cornerstone from Theme.co will not be installed. I would suggest that you temporarily switch your theme to twenty sixteen and then delete that Cornerstone plugin. After that, switch back again to X theme. Cornerstone should be installed and activated immediately. If still it doesn’t, you may have file permission issue and would need to install Cornerstone manually. You can download the zip file from here: http:///wp-content/themes/x/framework/plugins/cornerstone.zip

    Hope this helps.

I followed your first suggestion and receive this fatal error and cannot access my site or WordPress unless I go into CPanel and delete Cornerstone. Then everything works as normal. I did delete the other version of Cornerstone (the Archetyped version) so that should not be causing any issues.

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare x_shortcode_dropcap() (previously declared in /public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/cornerstone/includes/shortcodes/dropcap.php:6) in /public_html/wordpress/wp-content/plugins/x-shortcodes/functions/shortcodes.php on line 92
