    Hi there,

You can’t add iframe code (embed code) within the HREF field. It’s for URL only, what you could do is paste the youtube’s video URL and not the code.

    Thanks.

    Thanks for having a look!
That’s what I’ve been doing from beginning, but it doesn’t work – here’s my result:
    https://www.dropbox.com/s/rmqscau8y8aulbq/2016-10-06%2010-46-00.mp4?dl=0

    I used this youtube URL:
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-9vzMrG0Qfc

    What’s going on?

    Thanks!
    Best, Christian

    Hello guys!

I’ve been trying to trigger a youtube video lightbox for 2 days now. I am little bit in a hurry and need to get this working. Could you tell me if I am doing anything wrong, or if there’s a bug?

    Thank you very much!

    Best, Christian

    Hi there,

Since your youtube video is unlisted, I can’t see other sharing options. But the URL should be in this format

    https://www.youtube.com/embed/{VIDEO_ID}

I went ahead and changed it. Youtube is a video hosting and what you’re pasting is not the embeddable video, it’s just a normal video page.

    Thanks!

    Hi Rad,

Thank you very much for changing it and for your patience with me 🙂
    This is perfect!

Is there any possibility to trigger a video lightbox from gallery images as well, or does this only work with standalone images?

    Thank you very much!

    Hi there,

No problem, we’re always here to help 🙂

About the gallery, yes, it’s possible. And it’s by utilizing the selector, you’ll just need to use the selector that represent your gallery. I can’t provide the exact selector because it depends on each setup, but if you could provide a sample gallery then would be great 🙂

    Thanks!

    Hi Rad,

    Thank you very much!:-)
Which Gallery would you recommend? I would prefer to most light weight method, using the least js.
I want to build my site lightweight and learned that, when I optimize Java Script in Autoptimize, some things are not working any more….My goal would be, using as little Java script as necessary….that’s why i don’t want to go with the pageable container Version, for creating a video gallery…

Hope, what I say is not too confusing 🙂

    Thank you very much!

    Best, Christian

    Hello There,

You can use Essential grid or TheGrid plugin bundled in X. Simply go to X Addons > Extensions and install the plugin. You can test it one by one. To know more about the grid plugin, please check this articles: https://community.theme.co/kb/integrated-plugins-essential-grid/, https://community.theme.co/kb/integrated-plugins-the-grid/

    Hope this helps.
