    Hello. A site I’m working on, mainstreethartsville.com, is having some issues. I taking over management of this site that someone else put together. It’s a great site, but some problems have developed with theme and plugin updates.

    I have X 4.6.4 and WP 4.6.1. I’m using WPBakery Visual Composer 4.12.1

    I uninstalled VC from the plugins page and re-installed VC through the X Addons interface. I’ve done that several times but am always left with a “Hola! Would you like to receive automatic updates and unlock premium support? Please activate your copy of Visual Composer.” banner at the top of the editor. When I visit the VC settings penal, X Integration is active. If I try to authorize the VC plugin with a license, I’m prompted for Envato login information that I don’t have–that’s with the initial designer.

    After activating VC, I can’t edit my pages. See the attached screenshot. If I disable, the VC plugin, I can edit the “code” for the pages and save it, but the pages won’t render in the browser. I see a bunch of short codes mixed in. see the second two screenshots.

    I can’t get Cornerstone to work at all.

    Active plugins include WP Google Maps with add-ons, Formidable with add-ons, ChimpExpress, Contact Form 7, Events Calendar Pro, Updraft Plus, Ultimate Posts Widget, and The Events Calendar Pro with add-ons.

    Can you help me sort this out? I’ve created an admin account for you to use if you need it. If you do, let me know how to securely share those credentials.

    The URL that you gave is not working.

    Would you mind providing us with login credentials so we can take a closer look? To do this, you can make a post with the following info:

    – Link to your site
    – WordPress Admin username / password
    – FTP credentials

    A few days ago I tried disabling all of the plugins and adding them back one by one and it seems that WP Google Maps might be the problem.

    I’ve also found that disabling WP Google Maps doesn’t fully solve the problem. Sometimes the visual editor will load, sometimes it won’t. Sometimes a simple refresh will load the visual editor.

    Just sharing that in case it helps you determine what’s going on.

    I saw elsewhere that there’s some issue with Slider Revolution. We are using that plugin. I just updated it to v 5.3.0.1.

    No, unfortunately the issue has not been resolved. Your screenshot was taken with the WP Google Maps plugins disabled. With those two plugins enabled, functionality we have to have for our site, this is what I see (attached.)

    Also, I found this error message when viewing the page editor–when the editor itself won’t load an I just get the blank gray space.
